2022 flew by. And what a year it’s been.
From coming out of a pandemic mindset to the economy recovering a little too quickly (hello inflation), 2022 continued the trend of record-breaking years. So what will 2023 bring?
Well, like I always say, I err on the optimistic side of life. I DO believe that good things are still coming—despite talks of a recession and continued polarization of all things “life” by the media.
I believe good things are coming…for all of us.
I’d like to remind all of us (myself included) that during the holiday season, it’s important to be thankful for all things.
It isn’t always easy to find things to be thankful for, and it’s even more difficult when things always seem so dire.
But you can be thankful for anything—even just being alive.
As you celebrate this holiday season, remember the top two things we can all show each other.
Compassion and kindness.
I believe those things continue to be what is missing most right now.
Covid is highly contagious. Influenza and RSV have had their worst years in quite some time.
But those aren’t the only things we can spread. Compassion spreads easily. So does kindness and understanding.
Let’s intentionally spread those this year.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from me and Atypical Finance.
